I had them in California and loved them. I had them, my first night there, at a Holiday Inn bar that was open late, and still serving food, and at a family-run Mexican place. But they were on most menus that I ran across.

If you're looking for a chain, I'd try Red Lobster, unless they're still advertising on Limbaugh. Look in the phone book yellow pages under "restaurants" or "seafood." If it has to be fish tacos, call ahead and ask if they're on the menu.

But I live in the Northeast and I sure have never seen them around here. At Applebees, the only fish available is fish so hot that it is inedible, at least to me. That is not my favorite place. I can't find anything to eat there.
