77. Correction....

Strictly speaking, Bloodsucking Freaks is not "a Troma Production". I don't think Troma existed back in 1972. It was an independent exploitation film that was later picked up for video distribution by Troma. It is kinda funny if you have the right sense of humour, but also a reliable way to offend all the women in your life.

As for H. G. Lewis, even HIS special effects were superior to those employed in Bloodsucking Freaks.

I once had the pleasure of interviewing Ray Sager who played "The Wizard Of Gore". He continues to work as a Toronto-based TV and film producer. For example, he is the exec. producer of "The Eleventh Hour".
