but I am a horse lover first and foremost. What is strange is that horses are considered companion animals in France and Belgium. In most cultures, eating companion animals is taboo. Even cultures that eat dogs differentiate between pet-types and eating types. I'm sorry, I have a lot of respect for France and Belgium, but the fucking horse eating has GOT to stop. I realize most of the meat comes from the US, and I try to do what I can from my end of things....
