The accident....he was a passenger

the breakdown of his 1972 super beetle.. they overhauled the engine

the "minor fire"..a sheared something or other that they replaced for free

"my" car.. was the 1981 toyota wagon.. alternator


He's a cautious kid.. He did not even drive until he was a senior in HS.. We would not allow him to work , and could not afford the insurance for him to drive..

He's the level-headed one of my 3 sons :)
