Is this tacky?
Advertisements [?]
My son is in JROTC. A few weeks ago, we were at another school for a drill meet. The host school's JROTC unit was raffling off this amazing quilt (had American flags on it) as a fund raiser, so I bought a ticket.

It turns out, I've won it.

I was thinking of giving it to my folks as a Christmas present.

Is that tacky? I mean, it only cost me $5. It's obviously worth a lot more than that, but something feels funny about giving a gift that took so little effort of me. Or am I just being silly?

I *could* wrap it around a batch of my special peanut butter fudge that I know they love.....
