I always recommend that people avoid high fructose corn syrup at all costs..which is difficult as its such a common ingrediant..from what I have read corn syrup has played the largest role in the dramatic increase of the last 20 years in diabetes.. My husband and I cut it from our diets in an attempt to increase our energy (we were feeling sluggish and this can relate to blood sugar swings so we gave it a shot). It worked. The other positive was my husband dropped 15 pounds in 5 months and he changed nothing else.. I also lost weight (which was not good for me as I am already too thin) so I have been gorging on cheese...
