Pissed.

I've only been on DU for a matter of months. I was so happy I found it. I was never interested in politics until Bush came along and I can't stand him or the arrogance of the conservatives.

I post stuff here, and I've also gotten a wealth of information and news sources & stories which I gleefully bring over to another board called Chat Area (Chatarea.com/allpolitics) which is a small board and mostly right-wingers. I get such a kick out of constantly reminding them what a complete loser Bush is.

I also have posted stuff here that they've said, with the sole purpose of getting some help in countering it. Most of the time everyone here is very helpful and very generous with the time they take to respond.

So I started a thread in LBN about ABC's story on Hodges who supposedly claims CBS "misled" him. In that thread I posted that a RW from that Chat Area board was telling me that the Pentagon just announced the Bush documents were fakes. She might be a bitch and a right wing wackjob but she usually doesn't outright lie about something so easily disproven. So I posted that here, and like four people all jump all over me and accuse me of being a troll.

Christ. If anybody's read my friggen posts so far they'd know better than to say something so stupid (not to mention insulting). They bitched because I didn't provide a link, when I said pretty clearly that the info came from someone online and that if/when a link turned up I'd post it. It wasn't even the opening post in an LBN thread, it was a reply to a thread I started to begin with which was complete with link.

OBVIOUSLY I hope this woman is full of shit and that either her Fox News "story" is wrong. But Jesus Christ, before everybody starts jumping all over somebody can you maybe take the five friggen minutes to read one or two of my previous 100+ posts or at least my profile or something?

I really like DU but this is ridiculous. I know trolls come in here, Freepers come in here, but the last thing we need to do is to start alienating people with knee-jerk reactions.

There. I feel better now. I hope I didn't offend anyone. I was just pretty aggravated.
