Thanks for your appreciation on the subject of the the Pullman porters. I have spent the night on a train many years ago. I really like train travel. The dining car! I was surprised at the elegance in the dining room. How much fun it was to eat while we moved! The Porters were able to carry that food without every falling, water included.

OK, now to the questions of the day !

1. You are putting together a web site for your town! Very nice. Make sure you pm a link. I love tennis also. I try and watch when I able.

2. Once again, Bowling For Columbine is the popular choice at The Democratic Underground . And your review? :thumbsup:. I agree.

3. You have traveled the Amtrack from Portland-Boston and Boston-New York a few times. I hope that you and your husband will have an opportunity to take that rail travel to Canada.
