19. Historical certainty isn't "proof"???
Hmmm... Humans are obviously still around. Humans have preached doom for 5,000 years. Some of the people in the Meeting Room think the world is going to end. The world didn't end on any of those occasions in the past. How do you think they have a better argument on why they think the world is going to end based on their faith, as compared to why I believe it won't end anytime soon based on my faith (and historical logic)???

Oh sure, evidence can be presented as to how or why it will happen, and what not. Doomsayers have done the same thing for thousands of years. But in that time, they have been right 0% of the time, because the world has not ended. People who do not take stock in that crap (and who do not believe in such impending doom) have been right 100% of the time in that time span.
