i spoke with my son about sex when he was seven and TV and other outside influences made it necessary that i do so.

It wasn't too difficult because he knew a few things already;
he knew that women were biologically different than men,
menstrual cycles re: eggs, babies came from women, etc.,
and the sexes has different pee-pees has he referred to them.

(btw, most of these sexes discussions came out of discussions on religion, history and cultures/societies. )

so, it was a matter of explaining of the two pee-pees fit together, sperm...

i did speak about puberty, diseases and waiting till one was mature enough in the most gentlest terms i could.

his reaction was one of EWWW!!!
