9. Some years back, PBS did a documentary on Ray Charles.
Among those interviewed were assorted ex-members of Brother Ray's female back-up singers, the Raelettes. One of them told the interviewer, "We always used to say, before you could be a Raelette, you had to let Ray." :evilgrin:
