but there are some threads that make me cringe when i read them. I don't know if the posters are conservative trolls trying to stir up shit, or way-way-left extremists, but either way, some of the opinions expressed here make us all look bad.

I just steer clear of those threads; I usually try not to be the "opinion police". However, where do you draw the line at disagreeing, and being the "opinion police"?
