from their "pleasure." While not being as addictive as cigarettes, a "smoker" of whatever preference would certainly have a "stash" somewhere near by in a time of stress. The "dandy" that Saddam presented himself as with the fastidious appearance, the silk suits etc., and the Cuban cigars which were ever present, wouldn't hide in a whole unless he had the last memory of his grand life before. Cigars are small and they would be the one thing he could take with him to ease his time, and remind him of when he was "King."

That was the most suspicious thing to me. No mention of the cigars.
