You never know what the future holds; but I don't think a civil war is part of it. While in all honesty a second Bush term might be in it, it's not a lock. And I certainly dont' think it's worth giving up now over.
Rather, let the date inspire you. "A People United can never be ignited" to quote Terry Pratchett. Do your part at getting out the word about President Bush's lies and mismanagement (We have two great examples of the latter. First the Pentagon dissess France, Germany, Russia on the day before President Bush has to ask them for help in Iraq. Then we find out about Haliburton's skim).
