27. Republicans believe they can 'Max Cleland' Dr. Dean on defense.
The GOP doesn't understand we are going to run a negative, nasty campaign hammering THEM on defense issues. This bloodbath will hurt them more than us because it will lower Bush's numbers on trust and security.

Other Democrats would prefer to agree with Bush on defense or take a "nuanced" stance and try to win on education or health care. I'll support these guys, though I am wary of the same people who brought us the 2002 debacle.
