5. The reason FDR is on the dimes
is because of the March of Dimes, which asked kids to donate their ten cent pieces to help eradicate polio. To take FDR off the dime is a slap in the face to all those people who worked to develop a polio vaccine, and to all those brave souls who suffered and survived that ravaging disease.
