Whoa! Check out these poll numbers on Blair's government

This is from a story in the Herald Sun (London) claiming that Blair's right hand mand, Alastair Campbell, will resign over the Dr. Kelly controversy.

You can read the full story here: http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,54...

But check this out:

If Mr Campbell were to leave before then, his many enemies would certainly claim it was an acceptance of responsibility for the whole WMD crisis facing Mr Blair's fast-falling credibility.

The Daily Telegraph poll showed that more than 60 per cent of people believed the Blair Government had lost control and seemed to be at the mercy of events.

A remarkable 47 per cent told the pollsters they did not believe a word Mr Blair said.<!!!!!!>

The poll also showed the inept Conservative Party holding a 37 per cent to 34 per cent lead over Labour.

The poll was taken in the turbulence that followed Dr Kelly's suicide.

--------------------

WOW! Blair is going down, and hopefully Shrub is soon to follow.
