5. The part about the $333-per-course computer training...
... pretty much blew me away. Hey, I'm all for education, but I don't see the taxpayers handing out $40 million to any of our local school districts.

I don't mean to sound callous here; I feel that this is the kind of thing that most average Americans would be incredibly stunned to learn of, and it's important when a major media outlet spells it out.

The Newsweek article and cover was landmark, I think, and the way it stares out at you from its current spot on the check-out rack makes it a worthy message that's hard to miss.
