It doesn't matter what political persuasion she is, this is a very sexist comment. Would you have put down Golda Meir, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton for looking like frumps? None of them were great beauties. How about Hillary Clinton? The freeps loved to put her appearance down at first, and we reacted then as we should, with outrage at judging a woman for her appearance and dress.
Dislike pickles and make fun of her for her vapid speech, her vacant stare, her politics, her obnoxious choice in partner, but for Goddesses sake don't put her down for not being a fashion plate. It may be fun and a good cheap thrill, but you are setting the cause of all women back by making this kind of petty remark. :grr:
