I depend on DU and a couple other websites for news and opinion-- the corporate media perspective is so woefully depressing and dumbed down. It's been over a year since I seriously watched tv news. It's now crystal clear to me how much the mainstream media deliberately leaves out and distorts. So during the holidays I'll limit the time, but still do my daily check-in at DU.
