and was required to discuss that conversation with the Grand Jury -
But Downie said that Card was not a SOURCE of the Plame information.
That leaves open the possibility that WOODWARD may have initiated the discussion with Card about Plame - there had to have been some discussion of Plame or why else would the Grand Jury be interested?
I think Downie was deliberately confused/confusing on this important point. Which - if Woodward initiated discussion of Plame - would make Woodward look like a rat carrying tales.
