50. I come in contact with it every day. I was on my back deck
where my husband smokes sometimes. He wasn't out there, but I smelled smoke very strong coming around the house. Since we live in the woods, I was beginning to think that maybe one of his cigarettes had been left burning and that more than a butt was burning. I called out to him and he was indeed around the house smoking.

I also come in contact with it when I'm in public. Like other posters have said, smokers often congregate at the entrance to a restaurant. This is very unpleasant to have to go through if one is highly allergic to the smoke.

But it's not a life or death issue with me if that is what you mean. There are certainly many more important things in my life than coming in contact with second-hand smoke.
