I disagree. I'm not sure what the politics of the creator are, but the show itself is pretty entertaining. The closest any of them come to being political is Bree, who (IIRC) referred to herself as a Republican briefly in one episode. If you look at her family, I'd agree: she's a Stepford-ish woman who hides behind the illusion of a perfect family to avoid dealing with her feelings; her (now deceased) husband is a medical doctor with a secret S&M fetish who has had affairs; her son is a (formerly closeted) homosexual teenager with an anger management problem; and her teenage daughter is just part of the wallpaper. The rest of the housewives are about as far from being conservative as you can get.

Oh, and I know that Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria are strong supporters of democratic causes. I've seen a couple of seconds of film where Felicity Huffman was caught on camera making snide comments about Republicans. :)
