32. No.
We are dealing with a politically brainwashed and poorly educated public, who gets its information in short sound bites from a compliant media who doesn't care how biased and shallow their coverage is. I really don't understand our Democratic leadership. Either they don't think it's a big problem or they are afraid.

We have to get the truth out. All the internet websites, like this one, provide one outlet, but it's not enough. I was truly thinking if politically savvy, but non-partisan activists had neighborhood meetups for everyone, like on a monthly basis, to discuss the problems each neighborhood has like unemployment, crime and other things everyone is personally concerned about, they could lead into a discussion about how these problems came to be and who is really responsible.

This education of the public should have been done by a free press, but evidently we don't have that anymore like Nazi Germany. The Nazis controlled all the print media and radio news. (There was no TV then.) Occasionally diplomats and foreign correspondents could obtain newspapers and periodicals from other countries that covered the news the Nazis didn't want out in the public.

We are facing this today so we are going to have to get the truth out ourselves. Also, Americans are still being told by right wing members of Congress that Iraq and 9-11 are connected and I even heard it today from Congressman Dana Roharbach. He is also blaming the Iraq war on the Clinton administration. These are the lies that need to be stifled by a free press, but it's not happening so we will have to do it ourselves.
