Wonder how many kids here even know what that is. Unfortunately, I was still in high school then. The HS I went to had mandatory ROTC the first two years (private school and wasn't my choice at the time). So I did get suspended for two days because I wore a black arm band with my ROTC uniform for the very first Vietnam Moratorium Day... but I digress.
Re, the CIA. You nailed it. The problem back then was that the government used the CIA and the FBI together to spy on American citizens, hence the "wall" between the two, and it's a distortion to blame that on Jamie Gorelick as that wall long pre-dated her. Now that the CIA actually does have honorable intentions, of course who wouldn't want to support the CIA. We all had damn good reason to dislike and be highly suspicious of the CIA back then, but that was a different time which Oxyboy conveniently leaves out.
Once again, politics makes strange bedfellows.
