| 44. The word captures my sense of anticipation |
|
that finally justice will prevail and I'll be in a country that I recognize. I respect Fitzgerald for being above the partisan frey, but that doesn't change my own anticipation. The word is fun, silly, goofy, and a great shorthand for the anticipation I feel. I'm like a kid before Christmas wondering what will happen on Christmas day.
I also don't think the word hurts our cause. It's important for the public to know that there is opposition to this cabal. The media has portrayed only one side for too long and has made the left invisible. When they mention the left blogosphere coining a term like "fitzmas" then it brings attention to us. At least some will go looking for the sites.
