...feels like the thrill of anticipation just before labor pains are to begin. It's a heady mixture of anxiety and excitement; an awareness of a potentially life-threatening adventure laid out in plain view before you. Knowing you and only you must travel the path, acknowledge the danger, keeping eyes at all times on the precious prize. This potentially life-giving and life-altering rite of passage is utterly non-negotiable. This fight we are all engaged in now is a fight to the death (or life) and it is the evil ones that must succumb. There is power in the air. Drink deeply of it, my friends, and gird your loins well.

The voices of this special gathering of people here have been an enormous force in bringing us all to this special place in our nation's history and I am honored to be among all of you.
