10 Coping tasks for INDICTMENT OVEREXCITEMENT

Going crazy? Cookoo for KarlCo Cuffs? Having the Fitz Fits? Can't wait for Miller time? Is the DeLay killing ya? Can't get Abramoff your mind?

OK, repeat after me. "I am NOT going to spend the entire day, and maybe the next, and maybe the next, and so on, glued to the computer screen hoping to see a perp walk, reading mounds of speculation from those only slightly better informed than I. The footage and info WILL be there if I step away and do something productive."

Then go...

1) Clean a window. Inside and out. Storm windows too. Then make sure they seal nice and tight for the winter.

2) Clean your refrigerator coils. Yes they do need it.

3) Drain the rust out of your furnace. Or do something else to it that you've been putting off.

4) Get the trash out of the garage so you have somewhere to park the car during snowstorms.

5) Check and fix your tire pressure.

6) Refund that stack of empties on the back porch.

7) Look for stuff that should not still be in the fridge.

8) Vaccuum something. Anything.

9) Clean or replace that nasty shower liner.

10) Roll up your pennies.

That's just my list. What's yours?
