The White House must send pre-packaged instructions on which clips are to be shown on the split screen during key points of the speech. When he talked about getting rid of Saddam Hussein "Good riddance!!" CNN showed pictures of the statue coming down.

He also used the same old tired sure-fire crowd pleasers like the "death tax" (Estate Tax) fallacy, saying that now farmers and small business owners can pass on their businesses to their children. Al Franken covered this in his book, explaining how this is beneficial to a handful of extremely wealthy businessmen. He's also claimed that this tax amounted to "double taxing." Franken reminds us that we're being double taxed every day every time we pay a fee or a sales tax on income that was already taxed by the U.S. government.
