20. I don't think so anymore
Every news alert about terra in the past 5 years has been amazingly coincidental with political "bad news". Sure, there are always crazy (or desperate) people who are so crazy or so upset that they will do anything to get attention. But I don't think it's any more than usual.

Besides, all the bombings lately haven't been Al Qaida - they've been "terrorist groups with links to Al Qaeda"...heck, I bet Kevin Bacon has links to al Qaida, if you take it far enough.

I say relax - what can you do except be reasonably prepared anyway?
