I was not hearing what I was hearing. He seemed stressed during the conference but I almost felt he was angry with US. If there was a transcript it would be worth the read.

I never thought I would hear what I heard out of any Democrats mouth..except maybe Zell Miller. It's really upsetting. I feel like those of us who have been out there working butts off for our Dems and change and supporting candidates with donating our own money for campaigns for stuff the DNC couldn't afford were HAD....I don't know what's wrong with him...never would have expected this from Schumer. Never.

All of us Lefty activists...they don't want us...get the Hell out...was what I heard. I know some folks won't find this believable...maybe Schumer had a bad day or something...but I heard what I heard and it chilled me to the bone. Devastated me... Don't mean to be a Drama Queen but it doesn't seem to be just him today. Others are pulling this crap about Miers is okay...it's the best we could do. But, at least the "others" didn't trash us activists on the left...they didn't go that low.
