I'm getting sick of these idiots who pretend to care about fiscal responsibility, too. Guys like this weren't particularly bothered by the billions of disappearing tax dollars in Iraq. They don't mind the government handing huge sums of taxpayer money to Halliburton of Bechtel, or exported jobs, or the tipping of the tax system that actually stagnates the economy.

But any talk of aid to needy US citizens is 'a betrayal of conservativism'. Why is that?
