but I won't have one for him unless he sends it to me from Basic. Hopefully, he'll be back online after the 8 weeks of Basic. After that, it's 2 years of schooling in South Carolina (he's going nukes ... oh, goodie, submarines - </sarcasm>) - so even if he gets to read local papers, it'll still be slanted red.

I'm hopeful that they won't get to him with all the hatred of one target group of "the enemy" just because he's very sensitive about prejudice/racism since he's been a victim of it in the past (he's Mexican-American).

I do plan to stay in touch as often as possible.

PS: I'm thankful that his actual "active duty" role won't start until Bush's term is almost over.
