71. Another example how Mr. "Uniter"...............
has poisoned our population. I think if those DUers thought about that premise for more than a moment they'd think differently. Knee-jerk reaction is all the rage since Mr. "Uniter" stole the office of President of the United States.

Empathy is what separates Dems from the Cons. Without it, we become just like them, as you said.

How anyone who's ever experienced a single emotion cannot feel empathy for Cindy Sheehan or any mother or father like her, regardless of political affiliation, is something I'll never be able to understand.

I blame george w. bush and his entire administration for this deep divide in our collective American psyche. They alone have given rise to this phenomenon and they alone can stop it. However, I expect no such overture by them because they are emotionally void and morally bankrupt. If this country can ever heal and undo the damage done by the neo-cons it will have to be after they are either removed or have served out their term. I pray for the former.

Thanks, george. You've taken the greatest nation on earth and reduced it to is basest elements. Only the gentle, healing hands of a true Progressive will be able to repair the damage you've done.
