51. making a virtue out of a necessity!
So, basically, Dubya must be a "good Christian" because government workers are doing their jobs?

Wow -- if canonization were that easy, it's a wonder we haven't got saints up the wazoo! By that logic, Clinton must also be just as good a Christian as Dub. Well, except for the time the assistance checks got held up because ... because the Republicans tried to shut down the government! Which, I guess, would make them Satan's minions because they interfered with the government's ability to help people, huh?

If she really believes that distributing public assistance is the hallmark of a good and saintly person, let's hope she's out on the street picketing whenever certain politicians try to cut back veterans' benefits, Social Security, etc.
