79. Unless Rove is coming out and doing things against gays...
... I say leave it alone! It's not about whether he's a gay or not (though it might be for some of the Rethuglican constituency). It's whether he's a hypocrite or not. If he's hypocritical about it and these are more than just "rumors" than I say by all means expose him, just like we expose Bill Bennett gambling because that's hypocritical for him, not because we disagree with his gambling. If his base doesn't like that he's gay, or that Bill Bennett's fans don't like that he gambles, that's their problem to deal with. But I'm not directing "outing" of folks like this just to their concerns. That makes us hypocrites.

Randy "Duke" Cunningham is also rumored to have been gay. (Google it and you can find it) That's more relevant in the search for Rethuglican hypocrisy, since Cunningham's noted for calling gays "homos" on the House floor and working against them too. It's more relevant to expose Roy Cohn as a gay, since he and Joseph McCarthy destroyed many gay people's lives back in the 50's too.

Karl Rove may be an ugly frog who's a gay as well, but unless he makes it an issue, I'll deal with the issues that he's guilty of that are far more injurious to the rest of us than him being gay.
