6. Perhaps it's: "the movies suck"
Many people I know don't want to pay 30-100 bucks to take the family to a movie where the seats are uncomfortable, sound is bad and the movie sucks. One should look at the state of the economy as oppossed to the state of the politics involved, it isn't bad wasting money on a movie if the money is flowing freely, but if much of the money is needed for essentials, movies are neglected.
