12. Not sure I buy into your assumption ...
... that a Democrat could have had *'s record. I'd like to think that no Democratic President would have taken us down this road, even given 9/11.

Speaking of which, the other evening I was watching MSNBC or CNN and Pataki was introduced as "The 9/11 Governor." Not sure that it was meant to sound critical, although I didn't think of it as a flattering reference. I will always think of * as "the 9/11 president" -- and I don't mean it kindly.

Imagine if this had happened while a Democratic was President? Fact is, *'s name was atop the White House stationery when we were attacked.
