Could Roy Moore Get Nominated For Supreme Court?
Advertisements [?]
Roy Moore is the Alabama Ten Commandments judge. With some conservatives denouncing Albert "Geneva Is Quaint" Gonzalez as "too liberal" I am starting to think that this is the only way conservatives can get even more radical.

Here's an excerpt from Roy Moore's website:

Statement by former Chief Justice Roy Moore and the Foundation for Moral Law Concerning the Retirement of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor
July 1, 2005

This is an excellent opportunity for the President of the United States to return the Supreme Court toward a proper understanding of the Constitution and the First Amendment. Sandra Day O'Connor has continuously moved toward a more liberal view and in the recent Ten Commandments cases, McCreary County and Van Orden, she demonstrated a clear misunderstanding of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. Her unfortunate legacy has strengthened so-called rights of sodomy and abortion not found in the Constitution, but has eroded fundamental rights actually in the text of the Constitution, such as life, liberty, and property. These inalienable rights have been repeatedly undermined by the removal of the acknowledgment of God from our land and the adoption of international laws to govern our conduct. Justices of the Supreme Court must recognize both the sovereignty of God and the supremacy of the U.S. Constitution.

Gee, you would almost think that he is campaigning for the job?
