1. That's sort of a leading question
How is it the right thing to react to terrorism by giving into terrorist demands?

I mean independently of this event, but the United States and all involved should withdraw from Iraq (preferably giving power to some sort of UN peacekeeping force, in my opinion).

But if you pose the question in relation to these deaths, I'm not sure it's as black and white as you suggest.
