19. But Isn't the Difference
that AFRTS is "publicly" funded entertainment for the military? I would not have as big a problem with the "pig-boy" on AFRTS if people actually had an option to choose something else, or if my tax dollars weren't being spent to provide an avenue for Rush to basically say "I hate America".

The programming on AFRTS is limited enough. Having a right-wing propagandist that daily describes 100's of thousands of people in the military as "traitors" or "Terrorist sympathizers" is going way beyond the pale. I'm not asking for balance.

I don't want a left-wing person on AFRTS spending an hour each day telling the troops how much "conservatives hate America" and are just a bunch of "racist Nazi's".

My point is that a captive audience should not be subjected to something so divisive that it harms unit cohesion and morale.

And make no mistake about it. My fellow Sailors have no doubt that I am a proud liberal. I am being slandered on a daily basis by a man being supported by MY tax dollars, and MY Department of Defense.
