8. Protecting The Congress
I think it is time for Congress to stay in session for the 4th of July to show the United States democracy at work against a President, who would use the time to dictate his own agenda no matter what. As President, he wants to keep bypassing safeguards in our Constitution. If Republicans can force Congress into adjournment, then they are in collusion with a White House. If they then use this time to bypass Congress on every American holiday. So every holiday the executive branch becomes the congressional branch of government. The White House must promise ahead of time to the American public its faith of three branches of equal powers of a Constitution.
