Actually, I don't think Mehlmen said "memo"
I think he deftly used the term "report", leaving him some wiggle room.

Of course, none of the memo -- or *reports* therein! -- have been discredited; it is simply true that no one actively in the Administration has admitted to anything.

The DSM is the closest we've come so far to evidence (testimony) of: distortion of intelligence, political motivations behind war ramp-up (start timeline "30 days before US Congressional elections"), illegal bombings of Iraq in Fall 2002 (to goad Saddam into attacking our forces).
