29. Right, remember when the right-wing neo-conservatives jumped
...all over Al Gore for allegedly saying that he "invented the internet". That was supposedly based on poll perceptions but was a total distortion of what Gore said and did. The right really worked their "poll magic" through focus groups as to how they could frame and warp the idea of Gore as a "do nothing but take credit for" vice president. Through Gores influential position as VP he was able to facilitate the implementation of the internet system as we have come to know it today.

Cheney should be included in national polls because he is a self-appointed pretender president. Clearly Dick Cheney has a great deal of influence on national and foreign policy even though the people voted for George Bush to be where the buck stops and not Dick Cheney who seems to be a flood gate of bucks flowing through to his pals at Halliburton.
