55. Halliburton protest
Howdy from Texas,

Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot.

You have seen the video's and maybe the video's from Indy Media, if not check it out, so you can see what happened. The cops whoever they were went crazy, in a instant. I was standing next to the exit door so I saw everything, no one ask us to move, but I did see a guy in a suit in doorway with a radio. I saw him nod his head to the cops and they charged in with their horses knocking people down. One woman had her foot broken when the horse steped on her foot.

I do believe some of the cops may have been mercs, some of them look kind of old and out of shape to be cops. It would make a lot of sense to use mercs to do the dirty work, saves on the law suits if you can't find the cops who did it. Most of them were Houston cops, I have been to lots protests and I can spot some them. Houston cops have a history of being violent, very violent.

I made eye contact with several of the cops, some were very angry, and some would not look at me.

We won, the cops didn't chase us away.

The camcorder and digital camera are your best friends at a protest, if we didn't have them the cops really would have went crazy and beat all of us.

I am glad to hear that this useless act of violence was shown in other countries, it is important.

There are a lot of good people in Texas we are not all republicans,
a lot of us are very liberal.

George Bush isn't a Texan, he comes from the northern part of the country, he just uses his fake accent to make himself sound folksy.

It was sad for this to happen, I know Halliburton must have been behind this, the protest last year was big, someone did't like it.

I think there were as many cops there as protesters, it was crazy.

The cops were lined up two deep, one row of cops standing and the
nazis in blue behind them. I don't know what they thought we were going to do.

I am afraid it will only get worse, a lot worse.
:hi:
