9. I could easily join that club and wonder about the same thing.
Probably if you had asked him if he could have done something like that he would have laughed at you and asked you if you thought he was insane. One of the common denominators with all of the winners of the "Medal of Honor" that lived was that they never thought about what they were doing until after they had done. This could be the same thing. But that doesn't matter, when the time camed he answered the call to his conscience and courage.
