9. Human geography has to do with this..The more affluent people
have over time moved out from the CBD (central business districts) of the larger cities..It has been by and large over time people who could afford homes in the suburbs and also could afford the daily commutes..These more affluent individuals have tended to be Republicans (hence red areas)..
