When I was 15 (some time ago now) this happened to me. I started crying, reading this post. There are a couple people, my husband for one, who know I had an abortion, but no one knows the details, and I have always been so ashamed of myself that it happened during the second trimester. I was in such denial when I found out I was pregnant, and then I also tried to "abort" by various stupid means. At that age I had never given much thought to abortion rights, but thank God someone did. I don't know what I would have done; gone to some back alley doctor, most likely. Thia is the hardest thing to go through. I have never, ever, not once regretted my decision; I have regretted not going to the clinic sooner, but I know I did the right thing for myself.
