Give up the ready-to-cook food and learn to cook from scratch. Reduce your utility bills (turn off the unused lights, conserve water, wear warmer clothes to save on the heating bill) Try to reduce your mortgage balance by doubling payments. Renters, save for that rainy day when you need a roof over your head and jobs get really scarce. Families get together and plan to help one another. Check out your local produce farms. Family or friends make a housing plan to double up if necessary. Downsize in every area. Start planning now for time is running out.
