I've often pondered why my fanatical brother gives a care what is being taught in public schools. His family was all semi-educated at his cult church. Prior to the ID discussions, he was petitioning to remove public school funding from his property taxes. Now, he says he has a right to demand certain curriculum *because* his taxes go to the public schools.

In any event, just like the power companies manufacturing electronics to benefit themselves... teaching ID is a benefit to the church. The natural curiousity of children will lead them to question who or what was this form of intelligence. Where exactly could a child find that answer?
